Jubilee Medical Group

The doctors and staff at Jubilee Medical Group are proud to offer the highest standard of patient-centred healthcare. We run many clinics for the management of chronic diseases such as asthma and diabetes and offer a wide variety of other medical services including antenatal and postnatal care, minor surgery, childhood vaccinations and well-person check-ups.

Jubilee Medical Group consists of a main site at Cobblers Hall, Newton Aycliffe and two branch sites at Burke Street, Shildon as well as Spencer Street in Eldon. The same clinical staff and services are available at all three sites.

In addition to everything you need to know about the practice you will also find a wealth of health-related information in the menu on the right hand side.

Questions and Answers

Please view our appointments page for a full explanation of how our appointment system works, including how to arrange telephone consultations and home visits.

Research Active Practice

We have been accredited by the Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP) as being 'Research Ready' since 2011. Our research study portfolio consists of over 30 studies to date. The practice research team have all completed Good Clinical Practice (GCP). Saturday Morning Surgery

We are open Saturday mornings as a walk in clinic for patients to be seen on the day. Please present at Cobblers Hall Surgery between 9.00am and 11.30am and use this service rather than attending Urgent Care / Walk In Centres. Please note you will be unable to contact the practice via telephone on Saturday mornings as telephone lines will remain closed.

Please tell us if you would recommend our practice by completing the Friends and Family Test next time you visit your local surgery. You can do this via the 'Elephant Kiosk' at Cobblers Hall Surgery or by completing a Friends and Family feedback form at Burke Street Surgery and Dene Vally Surgery. You could also complete the test online via the 'Have Your Say' section of our website. Please see reception staff for further information.
